About Us
Akshara Reiki Training and Healing Centre has brought to thousands of
people the gift of healing and knowledge.
Over the twenty years of its existence, we have been providing
healing services for a variety of ailments like cancer, chronic arthritic problems,
mental and emotional problems, injuries and other acute ailments.
We have also been training aspiring healers in all four levels of Reiki according to the traditional Usui system of Reiki healing.
We are a big Reiki family with more than 360 Reiki channels,
comprising twelve Master Practitioners and nine Master Teachers.
In addition, we have a regular daily online group meditation practice in Malayalam language and a podcast on Meditation. We also offer separate classes for young students with special focus on their academic needs, stress management, relaxation exercises and memory boosting techniques.
We are open to other holistic therapies and alternative healing methods alongside Reiki. We combine the wisdom of other modalities like yoga, ayurveda, pranic healing, crystal healing and acupressure where possible. We have conducted Akshara Healing Series, a monthly online session with practitioners of other healing modalities introducing their
practice and discussing how to combine it with Reiki practice.
We also regularly collaborate with the Orissa Swasthya Seva Sangha (OSSS) to provide acupressure training for interested practitioners.

Service to humanity has always been my motto. But Reiki came to me quite accidentally. Reiki opened my eyes to other holistic therapies, and today I am practicing and exploring acupressure as well. We have also seen the benefits of yoga and meditation, and I encourage clients to try a combination of these alternative therapies to relieve themselves of their illnesses.
