The name Aroha comes from the Maori word for Unconditional love, which also encompasses

notions like sympathy, compassion, nostalgia, open-mindedness, generosity etc.

It inherently includes the belief that when one connects to an Other, one is as much

responsible for the well-being of the Other as that of the self.

Blessed to be born into a family of healers and teachers, I am an empath and able to detect energetic imbalances in the aura

during healing. I have learned and combined the basics of yoga,

tai chi, acupressure, crystal healing, EFT and access bars in my personal spiritual practice, and bring these insights into my teaching of Reiki as well.

Aroha is my dream come true:

I am a travelling Reiki teacher who offers healing,

workshops and Reiki training across the length and breadth of India.

What I believe in...

Reiki is a spiritual experience and path for me, and I have been teaching Reiki for about four years. Aroha is one of the manifestations of my quest for understanding the workings of the universe.

As someone who loves travelling and has lived in different parts of India, my idea of imparting the knowledge of Reiki to others had to be unfettered and unbound to any particular place or groups.

My hope is that the touch of Aroha will inspire each individual to break free of their own fetters

and see that through all our differences, we are one: each of us is a wisp of the

Unconditional love that makes up the essence of the universe.
